Thushiyanthan, one of the Training Coordinators at Visions Global Empowerment, is an aspiring young graduate with a passion to impact adolescents and young adults with multi-development skills. He has completed B.A Philosophy from the University of Jaffna with numerous honours – winner of Thuriyappa Gold Medal and an academic scholarship named Swamy Murugaiah Scholarship. Upon his completion of graduation, he served as a Temporary Lecturer for more than a year with the Department of Philosophy.

During his studies at University of Jaffna, he excelled in sports and co-curricular activities. He has captained and led the University team in Hockey to several victories. He has held President Positions in the University Sports Council. He has served as President and Secretary in different times at the Philosophical Society of University of Jaffna.

He is a result focused and energetic team player with excellent interpersonal skills. He is reading M.Phil in Philosophy with the Peradeniya University and also, pursuing Diploma in Counselling with National Institute of Social Development, Colombo. He is fearless of challenges, in order to seek new ways of working and better methodologies to create best value with the passion towards training and development.
