Selvaseelan Diuttonraj is a dedicated Training Coordinator overseeing schools within the Vadamaradchy Zone. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Jaffna, he has actively engaged in numerous skill-building programs both during and post his academic tenure. His involvement in sociological research projects, both within and outside the university, showcases his commitment to understanding and addressing societal issues.
During his time at Colombothurai Hindu Maha Vidyalayam, he has held the esteemed position of Senior Head Prefect, demonstrating his leadership capabilities. Additionally, his representation of his class at the Sociological Society of the University of Jaffna highlights his proactive engagement in academic and intellectual pursuits.
His aspirations are anchored in seeking challenging opportunities where he can leverage his robust organizational skills, educational background, and adeptness in interpersonal relations to foster personal and professional growth.
His excellence extends beyond academics, as evidenced by his achievements in extracurricular activities and sports during his tenure at Jaffna University. Notably, he secured top positions in Athletics, clinching first place in the 110 M Hurdles and second place in the 200 M events during his third year. Furthermore, his participation in Cricket, Football, and Relay games at university faculty meets underscores his versatility and sportsmanship.
Outside of academia, Selvaseelan actively contributes to community development as the President of the Colombothurai West Youth Club and a member of the Jaffna Divisional Youth Club.
His ambition to become a Sri Lankan Administrative Officer reflects his desire to assume a pivotal role in driving administrative excellence. As a youth leader, he has successfully mobilized diverse communities to collaborate on grassroots development initiatives tailored to their unique needs and resources.
